“The Twitter You Don’t Know The most annoying thing about Twitter is everyone’s desire to try and figure out a revenue model. Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there – it usually just means you’re a bit of a goof. Twitter had a revenue model from the beginning; their product was actually developed around the model itself. That model was SMS; it does stand for “short message service” after all.”
